Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

Last night it was the end of Catholic classes before the summer break, and the two groups of the children (15 in total) gave a little play that they had put together for us. It was so interesting that I had to share with you my final thoughts and lets first put you in the picture....
The chlidren's show consisted of each child being one part of the body, ear, nose, eye, foot, hand, mouth, brain so on and so forth. Now the body parts wanted to play it separately; so they all go off into different directions. They then say a word or two about what it's like to be alone & of course at first it seems real good way to be; the hand is not constantly being told what to hold, scratch, grip... The earing could concentrate on the wind in the trees, the grass swaying and not the talkings of others, the cars coming along the road... The tounge could take the time to taste the sweetness of the bitter fruits, making sounds, ticking, clicking, not just recite words ordered by the brain, taste...hardly ever; only the quickness of the food... These were the joys of independence.

After the few days of independence things started to falter...When the legs wanted to run, the foot was not in the same mode; when there was a concert but the ears absent; When the eyes wanted to read the Bible, where was the hand to turn the page to continue reading??? Hmmmm this needs to be looked into and re-negotiated as in fact we were better off as one, how to we get back together again? So the brain who had been playing petty tyrant decided to be cordial and treat the other organs and 'membres' better and with respect to get a maximum out of each and every part. They decide to live together in harmony as they could not do otherwise, the love was even better, the hearing was sharper, the smelling sweeter and the tasting more yummier.

All this lead to wisdom.
I thought it was a brilliant idea for the teacher to use the analogy of the human body. With respect, anything is possible and thus all things are possible. Imagine if you will that you have a group of people working with you, your peers, even though you are working from home and by that we generally mean alone; but you connect every day with and you mastermind together. As the forces are combined together the clarity of the work to be done will be so much better, each angle will have been analysed. You can then of course go off and do what was conveyed in your own style, since you are your own boss, but the idea was generated by a group of you meaning that more ideas will have been seen to. You can also get to work faster as the topic was already « seen » by several 'brains', that set off at different view points and then you each go off to your niche and market how you want to, with your own angle. The force of this is at least ten fold.
This is how it is for us at my new company, we mastermind each and every day in the morning to get the most out of every day. If you want to have the motor of this community check out my web site for a free test drive and get a feel of it to make your own mind up:)
